Jaguar

Like the manatee, the jaguar is a wild animal, it is also endangered. It is the largest and the most powerful member of the cat family. In the pre-Columbian civilizations of Peru and Central America jaguars were worshiped as a god, now they are hunted because of ranchers' claims they attack cattle. Jaguar rarely attack humans and are very beautiful. Find out how you can help save endangered animals like the jaguar by clicking on the link to the World Wildlife Fund at the left.

Cat

**** A four star pet.

As you can see, cats like to clean themselves and other cats. Before you get more than one cat, make sure the ones you will get are comfortable with each other. Cats are usually friendly with children and like to sleep a lot. They are a good pet.

Manatee

Manatees are not pets. They are called the cows of the sea and were once mistaken for mermaids. They are herbivores. Next time you go jet skiing or in a motor powered boat watch out for them because they are endangered.
My fourth grade manatee report is available here.

Pug

**** A four star pet.

Pugs are a pet that is easy to take care of. They are good with children and have a good temper. They are also loving and loyal. They are small and don't need much exercise. One of the very few cons is that they do shed a lot.

Welcome to Animal Net

Welcome to Animal Net! I am working on posting small reports on wild animals and pets. There will also be some pet tips. There may be games like crosswords & word searches. Enjoy!
