Jaguar

Like the manatee, the jaguar is a wild animal, it is also endangered. It is the largest and the most powerful member of the cat family. In the pre-Columbian civilizations of Peru and Central America jaguars were worshiped as a god, now they are hunted because of ranchers' claims they attack cattle. Jaguar rarely attack humans and are very beautiful. Find out how you can help save endangered animals like the jaguar by clicking on the link to the World Wildlife Fund at the left.
